I was drawn to supporting families as a postnatal doula because I had two very different experiences after the births of my own babies. I know first hand the difference that having good postnatal support can make.

After the birth of my son, I tried jumping back into ‘normal’ life again too quickly which resulted in feeling tired and sore and left me feeling emotionally low. It took a long time to feel healthy and well again.

For the first few weeks after my daughter was born I focused on resting, nourishing myself and getting to know my new baby and I felt so much better for it both physically and emotionally.

I want you to experience the difference that great postnatal support can make!

Both of my children were born here in south east London and having lived in the area since 2013, I have a wealth of knowledge about the support and services available to new parents here.

I have experience supporting first, second and third time parents, single and solo parents, families with multiples, LGBTQ families and babies with special needs.

I am also an experienced antenatal teacher who has supported hundreds of parents to prepare for birth and early parenthood. And I am a trained breastfeeding peer supporter providing a listening ear and support with both breast/chest and bottle-feeding. I’m also proud to work with Younique Postnatal as a postnatal doula preparation course facilitator and doula mentor.

I have access to a range of support and services that you may find helpful postnatally such as a lactation consultants, postnatal massage, nutritional therapy, counselling, placenta specialists, closing the bones, homeopathy, naturopathy and baby massage.

In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, foraging, fermenting and cooking and cold water swimming. I love great food, a strong gin and tonic, 90s tunes and kitchen dance parties!
